Welcome to Lincoln Street Lovely - a place where I write about DIY projects, interior design & the randomness that is my life. I'm Karissa - wife, mother and recently, full-time homemaker, living in Denver, Colorado. My motto is:
I just want to make beautiful things, even if nobody cares. - Saul Bass
Even though I'd rather just make beautiful things, I spend my days trying to get my 2 boys to take naps, trying to feed my family healthy meals, trying to keep our budget under control, and trying to temper my dreams about projects around my 1911 bungalow on Lincoln Street. My hope is that this blog will not only help me to FINISH my projects, but also inspire you to tackle your own! Let's inspire & encourage each other, shall we?

This is Justin - my best friend of 14 years, my husband of 9 years, and the father of my two precious sons. He is the Worship Pastor at our church, and truly one of the most gifted musicians I've ever known. He puts up with my constant projects with love & incredible patience!
These are my two little boys: Finley & Emerson. At the risk of sounding cliche, Finley Nathan, born on the Fourth of July, came out with a bang, and hasn't stopped since! His joie de vivre is contagious, and experiencing life through his eyes is challenging and truly amazing.
Emerson Reed is our miracle baby twice over - I'll have to tell you those stories someday. His wobbly toddler-walk and sweet little voice are a daily reminder about what is truly important.
